James DeFranco joined the Board in December 2023 effective with the merger of EchoStar and DISH Network Corporation. Mr. DeFranco is one of our Executive Vice Presidents and has been one of DISH Network Corporation’s vice presidents and was a member of the Board since its formation. During the past five years he has held various executive officer and director positions with DISH Network and its subsidiaries. During 1980, Mr. DeFranco co-founded DISH Network with Charles W. Ergen and Cantey M. Ergen.
