ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) today reported total revenue of $880 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 compared to $830 million for the corresponding period in 2013. Net income attributable to EchoStar common stock was $33.8 million and diluted earnings per share was $0.36 for the quarter ended June 30, 2014, compared to a net loss attributable to EchoStar common stock of $9.8 million and diluted loss per share of $0.11 during the corresponding period in 2013.
For the six month period ended June 30, 2014, total revenue was $1,706 million compared to $1,625 million for the six months ended June 30, 2013. Net income attributable to EchoStar common stock was $46.4 million and diluted earnings per share was $0.50 for the six month period ended June 30, 2014 compared to a net loss of $6.3 million and diluted loss per share of $0.07 for the corresponding period in 2013.
